We are committed to welcoming all visitors and providing meaningful access to our programs and events whenever possible.

Please note that many of our programs and events are hosted at historic sites that we do not own or operate. As such, we do not have direct control over the physical accessibility features of these properties.

The State of Georgia ADA code includes specific provisions for historic structures that recognize the importance of preserving their historical integrity. These provisions allow for certain exceptions to standard accessibility requirements when full compliance would threaten or destroy the historic significance of a property. In such cases, fewer accessibility modifications may be permitted for historic places of public accommodation.

While some accessibility limitations may exist due to the historic nature of these sites, we strive to provide alternative accommodations when feasible and encourage visitors with accessibility concerns to contact us in advance so we may assist to the best of our ability.
