About the event
Kettle Creek Frolic
Join us for an evening of music, food, and merriment at the Kettle Creek Frolic, held on the historic grounds of Kettle Creek Battlefield. Inspired by the cheerful country gatherings of the 18th century, this lantern-lit event features live music, hearty barbecue, and a warm spirit of fellowship.
As night falls, guests may enjoy guided evening walks along War Hill and the battlefield boardwalk, offering a unique after-dark glimpse of this storied landscape. The Kettle Creek Frolic is a fundraiser benefiting the Washington-Wilkes 250th Committee in support of America’s 250th anniversary.
Period attire is welcome but not required—just bring your love of history and good company.
